My fascination with the vertical panoramic is that it forces the viewer to look at their world in a different way. The other thing that draws me to them is that they are difficult to photograph and create in Photoshop. Only about 1 in 10 vertical panoramic images that I start are ever finished. Some times the variation in exposure and stitching will simply not work and I have to abandon the whole image.
